On game day, Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner have become known for their physical style of play.
They have helped earn the Seattle Seahawks defensive backfield the nickname ‘Legion of Boom.’
This weekend, however, Clark County football fans will see a more approachable side of the duo. Sherman and Browner will be at a series of local events as part of the Seahawks’ 12 Tour, which has players visiting cites and interacting with fans across the Northwest this summer.
Sea Gals cheerleaders and mascot Blitz are along for the ride, too.
First on the schedule is Movie Night at the Park tonight. The outdoor event at Marshall Community Center begins at 7 p.m., with a free screening “Little Giants” beginning at dusk.
Saturday will feature a fan forum at Big Al’s in east Vancouver, where Sherman and Browner will conduct a Q&A with fans. It’s likely to be lively, as Sherman is one of the NFL’s most outspoken players.
