Vancouver schools talk tech at White House

Steve Webb, superintendent of Vancouver Public Schools, will represent the district at a White House workshop discussing how to use technology in schools to boost innovation.

Webb and other superintendents who are part of the Digital Promise League of Innovative Schools are meeting on July 16 for the annual Innovation Workshop in Washington, D.C.

Digital Promise is a congressionally authorized, bipartisan organization launched by the White House in 2011 as a national center for research and development in education technology. Vancouver Public Schools in one of 32 districts nationwide that is part of the League of Innovative Schools.
