A Stevenson woman died after falling about 90 feet while hiking in the Wind River canyon on Friday morning, officials said.

Debbie Scott, 53, was hiking with a companion on a narrow trail that leads to an area of natural hot springs known as “Hot Holes.”

She slipped and fell on the rocks below, the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office reported.
