Two La Center women were arrested Thursday on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine with the intent to sell.

Debra J. Tsugawa, 56, and Lori L. Maze, 51, were found at their residence at 7911 N.E. Quarry Road, where officers found more than a half-ounce of meth along with packaging materials.

Battle Ground police officers served a search warrant at the residence with help from the Camas Police Department, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the Washington State Department of Corrections.

Tsugawa served time in 2010 for prior methamphetamine charges, according to county court records.

The suspects have another residence, just outside Battle Ground: 24303 N.E. 132nd Ave., Battle Ground police said. Anyone with information about the suspects or this home is asked to contact Detective Joshua Phelps at 360-342-5242 or joshua.phelps@cityofbg.org.
