The public is invited to join Vancouver’s Downtown Association at 11 a.m. Wednesday for the dedication of the block formerly known as “Block 10.”
The vacant block, renamed Heritage Square, has been improved with plantings, flagpoles, art and many donated elements. The improvements are the product of one year’s work by the Vancouver’s Downtown Association’s design committee. Vancouver’s Downtown Association invested more than $15,000 in materials and plants, as well as over 3,000 volunteer hours, in the effort.
The block is bounded by Columbia and Washington streets between 8th and 9th streets.
