Two runways at San Francisco International Airport are open today, according to the airport’s website, but Saturday’s plane crash is still affecting flights to and from Portland.

One of the main runways used for landings at SFO remains closed today as investigators document the scene of Saturday’s crash of an Asiana wide-body jet. The Boeing 777 was landing on Runway 28L at the airport when it apparently hit the ground short of the runway.

According to media reports today, two passengers, both Chinese girls, were killed. More than 100 others were injured, many seriously.

At Portland, at least five arrivals or departures are canceled today. SFO is a hub for several airlines serving PDX, including United, Virgin America and Alaska. For up-to-date flight information check with your airline or visit flypdx.com.
