Local students earn degrees from George Fox
More than 700 students received undergraduate and graduate diplomas at George Fox University’s spring commencement recently.
Kristen Mortenson of Washougal earned a bachelor of arts in social and behavioral studies degree.
Camas residents include: Kelsey Khaw, bachelor of science in biology; Alexander Gaskill, B.S. in information systems; and Emily Taylor, master of arts in teaching.
Yraceburu makes honor roll
Oklahoma City University has named Kayla Yraceburu of Camas to the President’s Honor Roll for the spring 2013 semester.
Founded in 1904, Oklahoma City University is a private United Methodist university.
Oljar named to OSU honor roll
Brittney Oljar of Camas has been named to the spring term honor roll at Oregon State University. To qualify, students must earn at least a 3.5 GPA and take 12 graded credits.
Kwan makes RIT dean’s list
Cameron Kwan of Camas made the dean’s list for the spring 2013 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y.
RIT enrolls nearly 18,000 full- and part-time students in more than 200 career-oriented and professional programs, and its cooperative education program is one of the oldest and largest in the nation.
