Girls basketball: Battle Ground 43, Heritage 42

Alena Jarvis made three 3-pointers in the fourth quarters, helping the Tigers hold off Heritage.

The Timberwolves just missed out on picking up their first win of the season. Unfortunately for the Timberwolves, they missed 16 of 26 free throws.

Malory Olson and Jarvis led Battle Ground with nine points apiece. Olson also had six rebounds and four assists. Jossilyn Blackman had seven points and 13 rebounds for the Tigers.

Diana Riggs led Heritage with 17 points.
