With their playoff future in question, the Thunder brought playoff intensity to the 3A Greater St. Helens League game.

Mountain View’s 1-3-1 press helped the visitors set the tone early. Mountain View led 21-7 at the end of the first quarter and 47-14 by halftime.

Carly Holboke led the charge with 30 points for the Thunder (11-8, 5-4).

“They had a real sense of urgency,” Fort coach Mike Dillman said, noting that the game had playoff implications for both teams. “They got to every loose ball, every rebound. They definitely deserved it.”

Mar’Shay Moore had 21 points for Fort Vancouver (3-15, 2-7).
