Boys basketball: Evergreen 64, Camas 58

After Trent Johnson banked in a 3-point at the buzzer to force overtime, the Plainsmen shut out Camas in the overtime period.

Connor Finnegan and Andrew White produced steals that led to baskets for Evergreen in overtime.

Kyle Robb scored eight of his 16 points in the fourth quarter, and Johnson scored 11, including his game-tying 3-pointer, for Camas.

“I thought Camas played extremely hard,” Evergreen coach Brian Witherspoon said. “They knew what was at stake, and they came to compete.”

Jahmil Johnson had 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Robert Franks added 15 points and nine rebounds for Evergreen, which kept pace with Union for first place in the 4A GSHL.
