Girls basketball: Hudson’s Bay 55, Mountain View 43

Three players scored in double figures, and the visiting Eagles scored 20 points from the foul line in the Class 3A Greater St. Helens League win.

Hudson’s Bay outscored Mountain View 34-18 in the second half.

“Bay shot the ball very well and Bay had a lot of energy tonight,” Mountain View coach Mat Clark said. “Those are a good combination.”

Paris Collins scored 18 points for Hudson’s Bay. The Eagles also got 13 points from Lynnese Harrell and 11 from KayCee Jones.

Bay was 20 for 29 from the free-throw line and also made five 3-pointers to only two for Mountain View.

“When they needed a shot they got it,” Clark said. “I thought they played a complete game in general.”

Carly Holboke led Mountain View with 17 points.
