Boys basketball: Toledo 71, La Center 48

After trailing 21-19 after the first quarter, Toledo broke the game open with a 49-14 advantage in the second and third quarters.

“We had a great first quarter, and the start of the second quarter wasn’t that bad,” La Center coach Jon Schroeder said. “But then we started to do silly things, and that catches up with you quickly against a good team.”

Matt Braaten had 11 points to lead La Center.
