Boys basketball: Battle Ground 61, Heritage 55

Miles Luke scored 23 points, including a crucial late putback of a teammate’s missed free throw, and the Tigers held on for the 4A GSHL victory over the Timberwolves.

The game was close throughout. Battle Ground was clinging to a one-point lead when Luke cashed in on that offensive rebound, and the Tigers prevailed.

Damien Ford scored 14 points and Trevor Ingram added 10 for Battle Ground.

Tim Hergert led Heritage with 21 points, and Jeff Bersch added 17.
