Wildwood — The neighborhood association has honored Loy Pehrson’s volunteerism and organizing skills with a Vancouver Sparkles community pride award.
“Loy jumped right into planning for our National Night Out celebration, volunteering to be the subcommittee chair for the event,” says the neighborhood association’s statement. “She worked with the Bedford and represented us at all of the planning meetings and did an excellent job of disseminating information from those meetings. The event was a great success, and Wildwood was well-represented at all stages of the event by Loy.”
