Boys basketball: Battle Ground 52, Skyview 47

Jamie Ford scored 22 points, including a couple of big baskets down the stretch, to help Battle Ground to a 52-47 Class 4A Greater St. Helens League win Tuesday over Skyview.

Battle Ground had a 12-point halftime lead, but Skyview rallied with a 20-point third quarter to make the Tigers work for the win.

Miles Luke and Kevin Haynes each finished with 11 points and eight rebounds for Battle Ground, and Haynes hit a couple of big 3-pointers to help finish off the win.

Jordan Berni scored a team-high 15 points for Skyview.
