Business planning course for farmers: Washington State University Vancouver and Clark County Extension will offer a 10-week course, “Agricultural Entrepreneurship and Business Planning,” from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 16 through March 20, at the school, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave. Local farmers looking to expand or start their business will benefit from the program. Registration is $75 per farm or family, and class size is limited to the first 30 participants. Registration deadline is Jan. 14.
