Girls basketball: Kelso 65, Columbia River 38

Taylor Flick’s 15 points led three Kelso players in double figures as the Highlanders rolled past River.

Kelso scored 21 first-quarter points, then pushed its lead to 19 after three quarters.

“They just played a real strong interior game,” River coach Carl Click said.

Loryn Musgrove had 12 points and Kailynn Rae added 11 for Kelso

Morgan Anthony had 16 points and six rebounds for Columbia River.

“That was Morgan Anthony’s best game,” Click said.
