Mountain View — Sixth-grade students in the EXCEL program at Wy’east Middle School did their best to lift the spirits of pediatric patients at Portland’s Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel through handmade holiday cards. Special curriculum emphasizes decision-making, problem-solving, critical and creative thinking, and self-direction.
