Starting in fall 2013, Pioneer Elementary School will join Marrion Elementary School in offering Evergreen Public Schools’ innovative Spanish Bilingual Immersion program.
An informational meeting is set for 6 to 7 p.m. Feb. 27 in the library at Pioneer Elementary, 7212 N.E. 166th Ave. Families with incoming kindergarteners interested in this program are required to attend the meeting.
Students will become bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and English. This meeting will provide detailed information about the program and the application process.
