Clark County sheriff’s office recruiting for reserves

Those looking to join the Clark County Sheriff’s Reserve Unit can attend an informational recruiting meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at the west precinct, 505 N.W. 179th St. The reserve unit comprises fully commissioned law enforcement officers who volunteer their time in the community. Officers perform routine patrols, respond to emergency calls for service and protect crime scenes and large community events, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
