A Vancouver woman was injured Friday morning in a crash on Interstate 5 southbound near Mill Plain Boulevard.

Elise D. Hudson, 24, of Camas was driving her 1996 GMC Yukon in the center lane at 6:45 a.m. When traffic slowed, she swerved into the right lane, striking the driver’s side of a 2005 Dodge Stratus driven by Lindsay Schmidt, 32, of Vancouver, according to a memo from the Washington State Patrol.

Schmidt was transported to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, where she was treated and released.

Hudson was not injured. She was cited for an unsafe lane change, according to the memo.
