The Clark County Historical Museum is waiving admission fees for military veterans during the run of its newest exhibit, “Vet Ink: Military-Inspired Tattoos.”

Any family members or friends attending the museum with a veteran will be subject to the regular admission rates.

The exhibit opens today with a 5 p.m. reception at the museum, 1511 Main St., Vancouver. It runs through Sept. 28.

The exhibit features images of tattoos inked on 11 local military veterans, as well as the stories behind the tattoos.

The museum always offers free admission to active duty personnel and their families; members of the Clark County Historical Society also are admitted for free.

Admission is $4, adults; $3, seniors/students; $2, children; $10, families.
