Published: February 16, 2013, 4:00pm

Camas — Children with special needs — especially those with autism — just love Sensory Camp, a seven-week summer program designed just for them. Parents of those children love it, too.

Everyone is invited to help save Sensory Camp, which doesn’t come cheap and needs an annual infusion of funds since the Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation Department has had to cut spending.

A Casino Night benefitting Sensory Camp is set for 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, March 1, at the Fairgate Inn, 2213 N.W. 23rd Ave, Camas. Tickets are $20. Light refreshments and a DJ will be provided. For more information contact Alice Rolfe at 360-921-2143 or visit http://sensory-casino-night.eventbrite.com.
