WSU Vancouver chancellor honored

Washington State University Vancouver Chancellor Mel Netzhammer will be presented with the 2012 William Plater Award for Leadership in Civic Engagement at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Dengerink Administration Building, Room 110, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave. The free event is open to the public.

Netzhammer received the award for his work as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Keene State College in New Hampshire, a position he held before accepting the top post at WSU Vancouver last year.
