Mayor Leavitt’s State of City address set for March 20

Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt will deliver the State of the City address at 10 a.m. March 20 at the Water Resources Education Center, 4600 S.E. Columbia Way.

The address, titled, “Our River, Our City, Our Future,” will be broadcast live on CVTV cable channel 23 and streamed live on CVTV’s website.

The event is free, but RSVPs are required, as space is limited.

To RSVP, send an email by Friday to CityHallRSVP@cityofvancouver.us.

For those looking to eat lunch after the speech, Beaches Restaurant, 1919 S.E. Columbia River Dr., will donate 50 percent of meal proceeds to the Evergreen Park Summer Program, a charity chosen by Leavitt.
