Hockinson survived a fourth quarter in which the Hawks did not make a field goal to advance in the Class 2A district tournament.

Hockinson will face W.F. West at 4:15 p.m. Saturday at Mark Morris in another loser-out game.

Hockinson led 47-25 at halftime, but went cold in the second half. The Hawks scored six points in the fourth quarter, all from the line.

“We were 0 for 7 from the field in the fourth, and 6 for 12 from the line,” Hockinson coach Matt Gruhler said. “That help make the game closer than it should have been. But (Centralia) also started making everything. They even banked in a 3-pointer. But down the stretch when it mattered we did enough to win.”

Jack Klodt led Hockinson with 16 points, while Wyatt Yearout added 11 points and seven rebounds. Alan Haagen and Taylor Ellensohn had nine points and four assists each.
