Montesano outscored Woodland 13-0 in the first quarter, and Beavers weren’t really ever able to get back into the game.

The loss sends Woodland to a winner-to-regional/loser-out game Thursday against La Center in Chehalis.

“We got off to cold-shooting night, and we sustained that through the rest of the game,” Woodland coach Glen Flanagan said.

McKenna Mulder had 12 points for Woodland, and Kendall Grell added seven rebounds and four steals.
