Brush Prairie: Rocksolid Community Teen Center’s board of directors appointed community leader Gilda Ciraulo as its new executive director last month. Ciraulo was picked in part because of her efforts helping to develop community organizations and charity events in Clark County, according to a Rocksolid press release. Ciraulo previously managed state Sen. Annette Cleveland’s successful political campaign. She also worked as an associate of Vancouver consulting firm Westby Associates Inc., where she helped county nonprofits with strategic planning and fundraising efforts. At Rocksolid, 12919 N.E. 159th St., Brush Prairie, Ciraulo will oversee the after-school center and work to expand awareness of its programs. She replaces Nancy Miller, who helmed the center for five years.
