Is winter over? Going by the calendar, we have almost six weeks yet, but we weather folks call March the first month of spring. Two weeks left in February.
If high pressure moves farther offshore, we get cold Canadian air for the last week of the month. This week? Some clouds, some sunshine, maybe a dribble-drabble of rain or drizzle.

Ellen Smart noted that the robins never really left this winter and the frogs are beginning to sing. Larry Lebsack added, “The daffodils are sprouting, and sunset is almost 5:30.” All good signs.
