The La Center Wildcats were already locked in as the No. 3 team out of the Trico League.
Good thing, too, because two injuries slowed them down Friday.
Playing without Samantha Wise with a knee injury and then losing Katie Whitten in the second half with a shoulder injury, the Wildcats struggled down the stretch, scoring four points in the fourth quarter.
Whitten finished with a team-high 15 points. She also had four assists and three steals.
Katie Hebdon led La Center with eight rebounds. Ashley Denney had six points and six rebounds.
La Center will host Forks at 6 p.m. Tuesday in a loser-out, winner-to-district playoff game.
