St. Joseph’s cruises past Binghamton 71-44

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Langston Galloway scored 20 points as Saint Joseph’s defeated Binghamton 71-44 on Tuesday.

Chris Wilson added 13 points and Isaiah Miles 11 as the Hawks (8-4) extended their winning streak to four games, their longest since a five-game streak in December 2011. Galloway made 6 of 9 3-pointers and Wilson 3 of 6 as the Hawks made a season-high 14 of 26 from long range for 53.8 percent. St. Joseph’s shot 50 percent overall.

The Bearcats (3-10) struggled offensively, making only 15 of 52 shots (28.8 percent) including 5 of 23 from 3-point range. Karon Waller led the Bearcats with 13 points. Jordan Reed added 12.

Saint Joseph’s dominated the boards 48-21. The Hawks’ DeAndre’ Bembry contributed eight assists.

Galloway and Wilson combined to get the Hawks off to a 14-6 start. The Hawks then scored 14 unanswered points. Their biggest lead was 63-26 with 8:21 left to play.
