CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng is in the starting lineup Tuesday night against the Toronto Raptors.
Deng, who leads the Chicago (12-17) with 19.6 points per game, has missed the last five games due to a sore left Achilles tendon. His return couldn’t come soon enough for the Bulls, who are 1-5 in their last six home games after starting the season 6-1.
Chicago has won three of four overall despite missing Deng and former MVP Derrick Rose, who is out for the season.
The Raptors (13-15) are looking for their eighth win in 11 games. They are shooting 41.8 percent from 3-point range since Dec. 20, a five-game span.
Chicago has held opponents to 22.5 percent from long range over its last three wins.
