Clark County — AARP volunteers will offer assistance with 2013 personal income tax returns at six locations around Clark County from Feb. 1 through April 15.

Volunteers will staff the following locations: Vancouver Community Library, Three Creeks Community Library, Cascade Park Community Library, Battle Ground Community Library, Marshall Community Center, the Clark Housing Resource Center, and the Stevenson Library. The volunteers, trained in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service, are part of the AARP’s Tax-Aide program that is geared toward taxpayers age 60 or older with low and moderate incomes. Last spring, AARP volunteers in Clark County helped clients prepare more than 3,500 federal tax returns and nearly 700 Oregon tax returns.
