Oregon has been ranked the top moving destination for 2013, according to the 37th annual migration study by United Van Lines. Oregon, with 63 percent of interstate moves inbound, was followed closely by South Carolina, North Carolina, South Dakota, and the District of Columbia, said the Associated Press, which received partial results of the survey in advance of its full release in January.
At the other end, New Jersey repeated as the state with the highest percentage of outbound moves, with 63 percent, followed by Illinois, New York, West Virginia and Connecticut. Figures for Washington state were not released, according to the Associated Press.
