La Center — Bryan Miller wanted people passing his La Center home to feel festive this holiday season, so he donned a Santa outfit to greet them in his yard. Along with the usual lights and other Christmas decorations on display, Miller spent two Saturdays this month entertaining children and others, helping a handful of them make wreaths. On Dec. 14 he was joined for a bit by 15 carolers who rode up in a hay-covered trailer. “It really was a wonderful time had by all that were there,” he wrote in an email.
