The Clark College men’s basketball team continued their path of knocking down top-ranked NWAACC teams with a 78-69 win over No. 1 Whatcom at the Everett Crossover on Saturday.

Sean Price scored 24 points to go with seven rebounds and six assists for Clark (6-1). Collin Spickerman had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Max Livingston and Ronalds Elksnis each had 15 points.

Coach Alex Kirk said the Penguins got the stops they needed in the second half.

“It was high-level game,” he said. “We had some guys step up, and the rebounding edge is what got us the win. We won that by 13.”

Clark was coming off a 79-72 win over No. 2 ranked Big Bend on Friday.

Clark advances to the 4 p.m. championship game today against either Spokane or Lane.
