Courthouse Deputy Mike Polen was named Washington State 2013 Drug Court Officer of the Year for his efforts with the Clark County Superior Court Therapeutic Specialty Court program.
The program, which includes Drug Court, provides alternatives to incarceration for non-violent, substance-abusing offenders. The goal is to help them stay off drugs and alcohol and reintegrate them back into the community through education, treatment, counseling and monitoring.
