Taylor Rennaker had 18 points to lead a balanced attack by the Hawks, who shook off a hard loss on Wednesday to win at the Mark Morris Tournament.
“Everyone played unselfishly, looking for the teammate to get a great shot instead of a good one,” Hockinson coach Trevor Person said.
The Hawks lost to Camas on Wednesday because of a late technical when fans rushed the court early. The Hawks put that behind them on Friday.
“I think that’s what I was most impressed by today,” Person said. “The kids were working hard, playing hard and just sticking to playing Hockinson basketball.”
Jared Broer made some solid strides in his play to score 10 points for the Hawks.
