A big fourth quarter carried the Papermakers past the visiting Panthers.
Brandon Nguyen scored 10 points in the fourth quarter and Jake Hansel scored seven in the period. Camas made 11 of 13 free throws in the fourth quarter.
“We decided to get to the rim and got some free throws, which built some momentum for us,” Camas coach Skyler Gillispie said.
Jordan Lenard scored a game-high 17 for the Papermakers (5-0). Nguyen and Trevor Jaskinsky finished with 14 points apiece, Hansel tallied 13 and Nick Lopes 10.
Camas shot 41 free throws and outscored Washougal 28-14 from the foul line.
For Washougal, Yorro Bah scored 14 points and Austin Tran 11.
