Girls basketball: Columbia River 42, R.A. Long 32

The Chieftains won their third game in a row, pulling away from visiting R.A. Long in the fourth quarter.

Megan Bloom had eight points and nine rebounds, Marion Lilly had eight points and six steals, and Holli Jo Chose had 11 rebounds and four points.

Kate Kraft made 3 of 4 free throws in the fourth quarter to help Columbia River (3-3) extend its lead.
