Immigration reform advocates host party

The Columbian
Published: December 16, 2013, 4:00pm

A group pushing for comprehensive immigration reform in Congress will hear stories from activists during a party 7 p.m. Dec. 23 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8701 N.E. 119th St. in Vancouver.

Organizers encourage guests to bring a plate of desserts for the party, which will take place in the church’s Vogel Hall. The party will celebrate the young people from Washington state who demonstrated earlier this month in Washington, D.C.
