Columbia Credit Union recently announced that it has hired a new assistant manger in Washougal.

According to a press release, Darcie Williams will work with manager Ed Hakanovic to develop and manage a cohesive branch team focused on meeting credit union service, sales and operational goals. Williams will also be responsible for staff development, compliance and efficient branch operations.

“With 13 years of financial industry experience, Darcie brings a wealth of leadership experience to our Washougal branch,” said Paul Stednitz, Columbia vice president of branch services. “Her knowledge of the community is an invaluable resource in expanding our presence throughout the Camas-Washougal area.”

Prior to coming to Columbia, Williams worked in managerial roles at other financial institutions, most recently for a local credit union. She resides in Washougal with her family.

“I look forward to sharing the benefits of Columbia Credit Union membership with Camas-Washougal families and businesses,” she said. “It’s exciting to work for an organization that is dedicated to improving members’ financial lives and the community.”
