The Clark County permit center has temporarily moved.
With a remodel of its first floor space at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., now underway, yesterday the permit center opened for business on the second floor. Permit Center Manager Chuck Crider encourages customers to make appointments to avoid long waits.
Permit payments must be made in cash or check. Credit card services will be suspended Dec. 16 to Jan. 2.
The first floor remodel is expected to be complete in early March.
Hours of operation during the remodel are Monday and Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday, from 8 a.m. to noon, and Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
