A two-car crash Sunday night on the southbound span of the Interstate 5 Bridge caused a five-mile backup, Washington State Patrol said.
A trooper said one driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI (drugs) and taken into custody by Portland police, who handled the wreck. The accident happened about 6:30 p.m. The names of those involved were not available.
Traffic was affected for about 80 minutes, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
