Girls basketball: Ridgefield 41, Hudsons’s Bay 35

Shannon Boyle had 21 points and 15 rebounds to rally Ridgefield to a non-league win.

Hudson’s Bay led 12-3 after the first quarter, but the Spudders (3-0) led 20-17 by halftime.

“We got off to a very slow start,” Ridgefield coach David Heim said. “But we made some adjustments and continued to get better. And Shannon Boyle kind of took over the game on her own.”

Paris Collins scored 18 points to lead the Eagles.
