Three local waters have been stocked with catchable-size rainbow trout in the past week.
Lacamas Lake got 4,800 trout, Battle Ground Lake got 4,000 and Klineline Pond received 1,900.
The steelhead in the Cowlitz River are being taken near the trout hatchery, while the coho are getting caught by bank anglers at the barrier dam.
The North Fork Lewis from Colvin Creek upstream to the overhead powerlines below Merwin Dam opens to fishing for chinook, hatchery coho, and hatchery steelhead on Monday.

Mid-Columbia — John Day river backwater, nine boats with two steelhead kept and two wild steelhead released. (ODFW)
