Orchards — Clark County veterans were honored Nov. 27 at the Clark County Veterans Court Board’s Military Appreciation Dinner and Concert. More than 275 visited the Armed Forces Reserve Center for the celebration, which featured numerous musical performances and a pre-Thanksgiving turkey feast. World War II veterans were given special homemade pens crafted from wood salvaged from a WWII-era destroyer. The audience gave them a standing ovation.
