Busch Walkers celebrate 10th year

Washougal — The Harold W. Busch Walkers volunteer team recently celebrated another successful year, with $10,000 raised in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. The Camas/Washougal-based group is wrapping up its 10th year holding events to bring in money for the Alzheimer’s Association. Its namesake, father of team captain Linda S. Busch Pfeifle, died from the disease Nov. 11, 2000. Since forming in 2003, the team has brought in more than $150,000.
