Camas-Washougal firefighter attacked by dogs during call

A Camas-Washougal Fire Department firefighter was being treated for wounds received Saturday in a dog attack while assisting at the scene of a medical emergency.

On Saturday evening, CWFD volunteer firefighter Michael Reude was assisting paramedic crews at the scene of a medical emergency in Camas. While there, Reude was attacked by one or more dogs owned by the patient.

Reude suffered several wounds on his forearms as well as his leg.

He is being treated at a local hospital at this time but is expected to make a full recovery.
