Girls basketball: Heritage 36, Hudson’s Bay 33 (OT)

Ashley Edwards scored six points in overtime to help the host Timberwolves sink the Eagles.

Heritage (2-1) outscored Hudson’s Bay 7-4 in overtime after the teams played to a 29-29 tie through four quarters.

Edwards finished with 13 points for the Timberwolves, and Shayla Bell hit a couple of key baskets late in the fourth quarter to help the game reach overtime.

Paris Collins finished with a game-high 21 points for the Eagles.
